The 39-year-old founder of a Bengaluru startup, accused of killing her four-year-old son in Goa and transporting his body to Karnataka, has been identified as Suchana Seth. The CEO of the artificial intelligence startup Mindful AI Lab was apprehended in Chitradurga, Karnataka, with her son’s body in a bag.
According to the police, Ms. Seth, originally from West Bengal, had separated from her husband, and her dissatisfaction with their strained relationship, amid ongoing divorce proceedings, is believed to be a contributing factor in the tragic incident.
The husband, who is from Kerala and is currently in Indonesia, has been asked to return to India.
