In February of this year, CR Kesavan, a former member of the Congress media panel, made the announcement that he was leaving the party. CR Kesavan, a former leader of the Congress and the great-grandson of C Rajagopalachari, joined the BJP on Saturday.
When CR Kesavan joined the BJP, he said, “I want to thank you for inducting me into the world’s largest political party, especially on a day when our PM is in Tamil Nadu.”
CR Kesavan told the media after being welcomed to the party, “PM Modi’s people-centric policies, corruption-free governance, and reform-led inclusive development agenda have transformed India from a fragile economy to the 5th largest economy in the world.”
“I have family members who received ‘pucca’ homes through the PM Awas Yojana. 3 billion homes have been constructed. DBT was formerly known as “Dealer Broker Transfer,” but it is now known as “Direct Benefit Transfer,” Amit Shah ji once stated, complimenting the PM.
In February of this year, CR Kesavan, a member of the Congress media panel and the grandson of the first Indian Governor-General C Rajagopalachari, announced his decision to leave the party, stating that he had not seen any “vestige of the value that made him work for the party for over two decades.”
“I can no longer declare with a clear conscience that I agree with what the Party presently represents, stands for, or attempts to spread. This is the reason I just declined a national organisational role and abstained from the Bharat Jodo Yatra, according to Kesavan’s resignation letter.
