Khalistani Terrorist Lakhbir Singh Rode, Nephew Of Bhindranwale, Dies In Pakistan

The nephew of Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale, the Khalistani terrorist Lakhbir Singh Rode, passed away in Pakistan on December 2 from a heart attack, according to intelligence agency sources. At seventy-two, he had fled to Pakistan following the demise of Bhidranwale.

Rode was the leader of the outlawed group known as the “Khalistan Zindabad Force,” which was purportedly engaged in acts of terrorism against India. Intelligence services claimed that he had been residing in Lahore.

According to sources, he was shipping weapons, explosives, drugs, and tiffin bombs to Punjab. In addition, there are rumors that he was complicit in schemes to kill state leaders.

He once admitted to police that he had brought 20 kg of RDX explosives from Pakistan when he was detained in Nepal.

In October, the properties in Moga, Punjab, were raided and taken by the National Investigation Agency (NIA). The raids were related to six terror cases in which Rode was accused of participating in terrorist acts between 2021 and 2023.
