Where is Kamala Harris today? See Friday’s schedule, latest news on 2024 election

With just days to go until the general election on Nov. 5, the race between Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump remains tight, especially in seven key battleground states that hold 94 of the 270 Electoral College votes needed for victory.

Both candidates are pushing to sway the remaining undecided and independent voters in these swing states, while also encouraging their core supporters to cast early ballots or vote in person on Election Day.

According to the University of Florida’s Election Lab, over 64 million people have already participated in early voting, either in person or by mail.

On Friday, Wisconsin will be in the national spotlight as Harris and Trump hold dueling rallies in southeastern Wisconsin. Trump’s event is set for the Fiserv Forum in downtown Milwaukee, the same venue that hosted the Republican National Convention in July. Harris’ rally, meanwhile, will take place at the Wisconsin State Fair Exposition Center, per the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel.

The Harris-Walz campaign confirmed that Friday’s “When We Vote We Win” concert will feature performances from artists like Flo Milli, GloRilla, MC Lyte, DJ Gemini Gilly, and the Isley Brothers, with remarks from Cardi B, who has been a vocal supporter of Harris’ 2024 bid. Harris’ running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, will be campaigning Friday in Detroit, Traverse City, and Flint, Michigan, with Gov. Gretchen Whitmer joining him in Flint.

On Saturday, the final weekend before Election Day, Harris is scheduled to rally in Atlanta, Georgia, before heading to Charlotte, North Carolina, on the last day of early voting in the state. Both Walz and Trump’s running mate, Sen. JD Vance, will travel to the Southwest for Get Out The Vote events in Las Vegas on Saturday, with Walz also visiting Flagstaff and Tucson, Arizona.

In the last 48 hours of the campaign, Harris will make stops in East Lansing, Michigan, on Sunday, and then close out with rallies in Allentown, Philadelphia, and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, on Monday before returning to Washington, D.C.

For election night, the Harris-Walz campaign will gather at Howard University in Washington, D.C., where Harris graduated. Trump’s campaign will hold an election night watch party at a convention center in West Palm Beach, Florida, though his exact plans for the evening have not been announced, according to the Palm Beach Post.
