In Dhanadih village in the Saran district of Bihar, a man and his two daughters were fatally stabbed, with the suspect being the insane lover of one of the girls, according to police on Wednesday.
The man’s wife was taken to the hospital with injuries.
The two accused, Sudhanshu Kumar alias Roshan and Rasulpur’s Ankit Kumar, killed Tarakeshwar Singh alias Jhabar Singh and his two small daughters on Tuesday night at their home using a sharp object, according to Saran Police.
“Last night, information was received through Dial 112 that three people have been murdered with a sharp weapon on the roof of the house of Tarakeshwar Singh, alias Jhabar Singh, in Dhanadih village under Rasulpur police station,” police said in a statement.
Within an hour after the crime, Sudhanshu Kumar, also known as Roshan, and Ankit Kumar, the accused, were taken into custody based on statements made by Tarakeshwar Singh’s wife and intelligence gathered.
According to the police, one of the girls and Sudhanshu Kumar had a romantic relationship, which led to the triple murder. From the scene, the murder weapon was found.
Police said they had found the murder weapon.
For a postmortem, every body has been sent to Chapra Sadar Hospital.
