Following a bomb threat on Friday, the airline and security personnel quickly responded to a Vistara flight headed for Srinagar, which was carrying 177 passengers and one baby.
The flight number UK-611, which took off from Delhi, arrived at Srinagar Airport without incident at around 12:10 AM.
The aircraft was immediately directed to an isolation bay upon landing, in accordance with standard procedure for such threats.
“Everyone disembarked safely at the isolation bay. To protect everyone’s safety, the aircraft is currently going through a comprehensive security inspection by the appropriate authorities, an airport representative told ANI.
All passengers are reportedly safe despite the disruption, and every effort is being made to ensure their security in handling the situation. We’ll keep you informed as more details become available.
