Day 4 box office revenue for Kisi Ka Bhai Ki Jaan: Salman Khan’s star power propels the film above Rs 120 crore internationally

Salman Khan is demonstrating that he is still a box office magnet, despite delivering mediocre material to his followers. Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, his latest film, suffered a severe (but predicted) decline on its first Monday, but still managed to score double-digit figures, which is a promising indication. According to early estimates, the film grossed almost Rs 10 crore on its fourth day of release, following a solid weekend performance.

According to Bollywood Hungama, the Rs 10 crore take on day four implies that the film ‘passed’ the all-important Monday test, however there was a decrease in multiplex earnings. Single-screen performance remained remarkable. Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan isn’t doing at the same level as Salman’s previous blockbusters, but it’s doing far better than expected in relation to other post-pandemic releases. It’s worth mentioning that KKBKKJ is basically the only significant Hindi release in theatres, with up to 16,000 showings every day.

Only a few Hindi films have delivered in the three years since the plague began. Only Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan was a true box office success this year, while Ranbir Kapoor’s Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar fared well (Rs 147 crore domestically), despite accusations of a bloated budget.
