Global Research Conferences 2024: A Resounding Success at King’s College, Cambridge

London Organisation of Skills Development (LOSD) successfully hosted the Global Research Conferences (GRC) 2024 at King’s College, Cambridge, from 8th to 10th August 2024, with a virtual conference kicking off the event on 7th August. The conference brought together researchers, scholars, and professionals from around the world to discuss groundbreaking developments and share innovative ideas on the theme of “Sustainability and Resilience in a Changing World 2024.”

The GRC 2024 featured a comprehensive program that included live presentations, virtual sessions, poster presentations, and roundtable discussions. Attendees explored various topics, ranging from environmental sustainability and technological advancements to social resilience and global health. The diverse sessions provided a platform for knowledge exchange, fostering a collaborative environment where experts could share their research and insights.  One such individual was:

Dr. Amol Gawande

Dr. Amol Gawande, renowned for his cerebral and creative endeavours, is celebrated for his progressive mindset and resilience. As the youngest director at Dr. D.Y. Patil B-School, Pune, he has enriched the academic fraternity for sixteen years. He holds certifications from NSE, CCC from DOECC, and Entrepreneurship Development from the Department of Science and Technology, India. Under his leadership, the school joined the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) under the Ministry of Education, Government of India. Dr. Gawande has received numerous accolades, including “Best Director of the Year” and “Rashtriya Shiksha Gaurav Puraskar.” He has filed nine patents, with three granted, and has presented research at prestigious universities such as Harvard and MIT. His prolific work includes two textbooks, five edited books, twelve book chapters, seven case studies, twenty-seven journal papers, eleven conference proceedings, seven news articles, sixteen conference presentations, and five copyrights.

Dr. Atul Kumar

Dr. Atul Kumar is a distinguished academic leader and researcher with over 16 years of experience in higher education. Serving as the Dean, Professor, and Head of Research, Accreditation, and Quality Assurance at Dr. D. Y. Patil B-School in Pune, he also holds the position of Director (Additional Charge) at Unitech B-School, Pune, and is a Visiting Professor at Boston International College in Chitwan, Nepal. Dr. Kumar’s academic credentials are robust, including a Ph.D., L.L.M., L.L.B., PGDIB, M.Phil., M.B.A., and B.Sc., complemented by a specialised Faculty Development Programme in Teaching Pedagogy and Research Methods from the prestigious Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad. He has guided numerous Ph.D. candidates to successful completion and is currently mentoring several more across various reputed institutions. An accomplished researcher, Dr. Kumar has an impressive portfolio of over 77 research papers published in esteemed national and international journals, many of which are indexed in peer-reviewed, UGC-listed, Scopus, and Web of Science databases. His research has earned him significant recognition, including more than 1500 citations on platforms like Scopus and Google Scholar. Dr. Kumar’s contributions to the field extend to his role as an editorial board member and reviewer for several academic journals, as well as his involvement in editing over 50 journal issues.

Dr. Arpit Trivedi

Dr. Arpit Trivedi is a distinguished academician and public speaker with over 19 years of extensive experience in general management and marketing management. He has made significant contributions to academia through his research, teaching, and leadership roles. Currently, Dr. Trivedi serves as the Chief Marketing Officer at Dr. D. Y. Patil B-School, where he integrates academic rigor with practical insights to drive the institution’s marketing strategies and brand enhancement initiatives.

Dr. Trivedi has a strong academic background, having authored multiple research papers in general management and marketing management. His work has been published in numerous journals and periodicals of national and international repute, reflecting his commitment to advancing knowledge in his fields of specialisation. His research interests include sales growth, business development, and strategic marketing implementation. Through his scholarly contributions, Dr. Trivedi has enriched the academic community and provided valuable insights for both practitioners and fellow researchers.
