Atif Aslam has recorded a song for Shane Nigam’s Haal.

Shane Nigam has signed a new film, Haal, which will be directed by Prasanth Vijayakumar. Pakistani artist Atif Aslam recently recorded a song for this film, which features music by newcomer Nandhagopan V. According to our sources, it is a deep melody recorded abroad early this month.

Atif, primarily renowned for his work in Bollywood, will make his South Indian debut with this film. It is also one of the first projects he has undertaken since the easing of the ban on Pakistani artists performing in India.

Haal is directed by Prashanth Vijayakumar. It is written by Nishad Koya, who has written films such as Ordinary (2012) and Shikkari Shambhu (2018). The forthcoming romantic musical entertainment will begin filming on May 5 in Kozhikode. Vaidhya Sakshi, who has previously appeared in Telugu films such as Agent (2023) and the forthcoming Pawan Kalyan blockbuster Ustaad Bhagat Singh, plays the female protagonist.

Haal, produced by JVJ Productions, is set to be released simultaneously in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam. Its technical team comprises cameraman Karthik Muthukumar and editor Sreejith Sarang.
