According to reports cited by ANI news agency, the cost of 19 kilogramme commercial Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) cylinders has been reduced by Rs 171.50 as of May 1. A 19 kilogramme LPG cylinder will now be sold in Delhi for Rs 1,856.50 as a result of the change.
A 19 kg commercial cylinder costs Rs 1,808.50 in Mumbai, whereas it is now only Rs 1,960.50 in Kolkata. With effect from today, a 19 kilogramme LPG cylinder costs Rs 2,021.50 in Chennai. According to Indian Oil Corporation (IOC), a 19 kilogramme LPG cylinder previously cost Rs 2,028 in Delhi, Rs 2,132 in Kolkata, Rs 1,980 in Mumbai, and Rs 2,192.50 in Chennai.
On April 1, rates were decreased by Rs 91.50 per unit, and as of that day, the cost of petrol cylinders in Delhi was Rs 2,028.
Commercial LPG cylinder prices increased by Rs. 350.50 and domestic LPG cylinder prices increased by Rs. 50 earlier on March 1.
