Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, in an exclusive interview with NDTV, announced plans to establish a new industrial park in the state, following a proposal from Vedanta Industries Chairman Anil Agarwal. This park, designed to benefit industries and small to medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs), was a key topic during a recent meeting between Agarwal and Sharma. Although the exact location has yet to be disclosed, the development of this industrial park is set to significantly boost Rajasthan’s attractiveness as an investment hub and drive economic growth across multiple sectors.
This announcement comes in the lead-up to the Rising Rajasthan Summit, which focuses on drawing investments and enhancing the state’s economic development. The Chief Minister also noted the success of a recent roadshow in Mumbai, where Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) valued at over ₹ 4.5 lakh crore were signed.
To further promote Rajasthan’s investment opportunities, the state government plans to send a high-level delegation to various Indian states and 25 countries globally. Chief Minister Sharma assured that Rajasthan will offer all necessary support to entrepreneurs, including timely industry establishment and a streamlined single-window clearance system for projects.
