Revolutionizing Agriculture: Organic Farming Project in Prayagraj District Aims to Foster Climate-Friendly Practices

In a pioneering initiative to promote environmentally sustainable agriculture, a dynamic team is embarking on an organic farming adoption and certification project in the Prayagraj district of Uttar Pradesh. With a mission to revolutionize cultivation practices and champion climate-friendly methodologies, the project is poised to reshape the agricultural landscape of the region.

As part of this ambitious endeavor, the team is meticulously measuring productivity through the micro-scale lens of a 1×1 square meter area. This granular approach allows for a comprehensive assessment of organic wheat production, providing invaluable insights into the efficacy of sustainable farming techniques.

“Our commitment to fostering climate-friendly cultivation practices underscores our dedication to environmental stewardship and agricultural innovation,” remarked Ms Arti Thapa, Founder President & CEO of the Pankh Foundation. “By harnessing the power of organic farming, we aim to not only enhance productivity but also mitigate the adverse effects of conventional agriculture on the environment.” She continued.
