On a call to action ahead of Saturday’s polls, Sonia Gandhi, former Congress president, asked Delhi voters to support INDIA bloc candidates to safeguard democracy and the Indian Constitution. She stressed the importance of this election, citing critical issues such as unemployment, inflation, and the erosion of constitutional institutions. Gandhi’s video message urged Delhiites to help secure a substantial win for Congress and the INDIA coalition across all Lok Sabha seats in the capital.
“Every vote you cast will help to create jobs, lower inflation, empower women, and build a more equal and promising India. I ask to you to make the candidates of Congress and the INDIA coalition win in all seven seats of Delhi by a large margin,” she said.
