The temporary release granted to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, according to Union Home Minister Amit Shah, was not a “routine judgment,” and many people think the AAP leader has received “special treatment.”
In response to a question about whether Arvind Kejriwal’s narrative in the election campaign has become more aggressive since his release from jail, Amit Shah stated, “Right now he (Arvind Kejriwal) is stuck in another issue,” referring to the ongoing controversy surrounding the alleged assault of AAP MP Swati Maliwal. The interview was conducted with ANI. “Let him go from that and then we’ll see what transpires.”
The home minister, however, declined to comment, stating that police will investigate the situation in the event that a complaint is made.
Shah also deemed it a contempt of court when Arvind Kejriwal repeatedly claimed that he wouldn’t have to return to prison if the Aam Aadmi Party won the Lok Sabha elections.
It is obviously a contempt of court, in my opinion. He is arguing against the Supreme Court imprisoning election winners. Regardless of whether a court grants him bail, he should consider how his decision-making is being abused.
Rahul Gandhi, the head of the Congress party, was also criticized by Shah for his choice to run for parliament in two constituencies: Wayanad in Kerala and Rae Bareli in Uttar Pradesh.
“Anyone can run from anyplace, but Rahul Gandhi ought to have declared his intention to run for two seats prior to the election. From a democratic perspective, I believe it is wrong to conceal it.”
He went on, “He ought to have informed the Wayanad people about it and let them make the decision.”
According to Shah, Rahul Gandhi traveled to Raebareli when he realized he could lose the Wayanad seat in the post-election survey.”
Shah disputed the opposition’s claim that “Dakshin mein BJP saaf aur Uttar mein half” by predicting that the BJP will become the largest party in southern India.
“I maintain my position. When the seats in Karnataka, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, and Tamil Nadu are added together, the BJP will become the single largest party, he said.
