After stabbing and wounding his 35-year-old estranged wife in Mumbai on Sunday night due to a marital argument, a man was detained, according to the police.
An official reported that the incident happened after the woman left her employer’s home in the Khar area.
According to the official, the victim suffered neck injuries, and the attacker was picked up from his Dharavi house.
The injured woman was taken urgently to a local hospital, where she is currently recovering and is said to be in stable condition.
The officer further stated that more inquiry is being conducted into a case of attempted murder.
