New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has got a big relief from the Supreme Court. The court has granted interim bail to Arvind Kejriwal. The court has granted him interim bail till the hearing of the larger bench. During the hearing of this case, the court said that we have also raised questions about election funding. In such a situation, arrest cannot be allowed on the basis of interrogation alone. The court has now sent this case to the CJI for the formation of a bench of three judges.

However, even after getting interim bail from the court, CM Kejriwal will remain in jail. This is because CM Kejriwal has been arrested by the CBI in a different case. Therefore, he will remain in jail in the other case. Let us tell you that the case in which CM Kejriwal has got interim bail was being investigated by the ED (Enforcement Directorate).

Let us tell you that the Enforcement Directorate (ED) had filed a chargesheet a few days ago in the Delhi alleged liquor scam case. In this case, ED had made 38 people accused. Also, CM Arvind Kejriwal has been made accused number 37 in the ED chargesheet. Whereas, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is accused number 38. Arvind Kejriwal was described as the kingpin in this ED chargesheet. It has also been said that he was aware of the use of bribe money in Goa election and he was involved in it.

In the ED chargesheet, details of WhatsApp chat between Arvind Kejriwal and accused Vinod Chauhan were given. Arvind Kejriwal is accused that K Kavita’s PA had sent Rs 25.5 crore to Aam Aadmi Party through Vinod for Goa elections. It is clear from the chat that Vinod Chauhan had good relations with Arvind Kejriwal.
