Two teenagers tragically lost their lives in a head-on collision between their two-wheeler and a canter truck while attempting a bike stunt near Devanahalli on Friday, police reported.
The victims, identified as Arpaz (18) and Manoj (16), were performing a wheelie on the bypass road of Devanahalli taluka, within the Vijayapura police station limits, when they lost control of the bike. The mishap, captured by a nearby CCTV camera, occurred when their vehicle collided with a truck approaching from the opposite direction.
“The impact was so severe that both teens died instantly,” a senior police official stated.
Authorities have registered a case and are conducting further investigations into the incident.
