Arvind Kejriwal Makes Pit Stop For ‘Vegetable Momo’ Amid Delhi Poll Campaign

AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal took a brief break from his campaign trail on Sunday to enjoy a plate of vegetable momos at a roadside stall. A video shared by the official AAP handle on X captured the moment, showing Kejriwal relishing steamed momos as enthusiastic supporters cheered him on.

“The bond between Delhiites and momos runs deep,” the party captioned the post, highlighting a momo seller’s gesture of offering the snack to Kejriwal during his campaign in New Delhi.

Representing the New Delhi constituency since 2013, Kejriwal faces tough competition from BJP’s Parvesh Verma and Congress’ Sandeep Dikshit, both of whom have intensified their attacks on the former chief minister in the battle for Delhi’s leadership.

In the video, Kejriwal can be heard requesting a single “veg momo” from the vendor. After picking up one piece, he invites others to share the rest of the plate. When asked if he wanted chutney, he politely declined with a simple, “Na.”

The 70-member Delhi Assembly elections are scheduled for February 5, with the results to be announced on February 8. The Aam Aadmi Party, led by Kejriwal, is pulling out all the stops to secure a third consecutive term in Delhi, having previously defeated both BJP and Congress in landslide victories. The BJP won just three seats in 2015 and eight in 2020, while Congress failed to win any seats in both elections.
