The London Organisation of Skills Development (LOSD) successfully hosted the launch of Inspiring Journey of a Woman on the occasion of International Women’s Day. The event, held both online and offline, brought together professionals from around the world to discuss the challenges women face and how they overcome them.
The virtual event took place on March 7, 2025, with Martha Davidson serving as the Chief Guest. The offline book launch was hosted on March 9, 2025, at Fitzwilliam College, Cambridge University, UK. Like-minded professionals engaged in thought-provoking discussions about gender stereotypes and societal barriers, emphasizing the book’s role in uncovering hidden struggles and guiding women toward empowerment.
The event was led by Prof. Dr. Parin Somani, CEO & Director of LOSD, and Nurbanu, LOSD Skills Director, both of whom emphasized the significance of women’s empowerment and skill development in today’s world. Their leadership continues to create a platform for individuals to connect, share knowledge, and inspire change.
One of the distinguished participants was Prof. (Dr.) Divya Tanwar. She is a versatile professional known for her excellence in multiple niches, including academia, cyber security, and social activism. Dr. Tanwar is passionate about making the world a better place to live by bringing transformative changes and empowering communities.
She is a Professor at Somaiya Vidya Vihar University, Mumbai, and Chairperson of the Divey Foundation in New Delhi. Her initiatives have significantly impacted underprivileged women and children, equipping them with skills and opportunities for a brighter future.
