In a pioneering move for the telecom industry, Bharti Airtel has partnered with Blinkit, India’s leading quick commerce platform, to offer doorstep delivery of SIM cards within just 10 minutes. This innovative service is now live in 16 cities, with plans for wider rollout in the pipeline.
Customers can now order an Airtel SIM card through Blinkit by paying a nominal convenience fee of ₹49. The service supports both prepaid and postpaid connections, as well as mobile number portability (MNP) for those switching from other networks. Post-delivery, users can activate their SIM using a hassle-free Aadhaar-based e-KYC process.
To make the onboarding experience seamless, Airtel provides a dedicated activation link and an instructional video, with further assistance available via the Airtel Thanks app or a customer helpline. It’s important to note that SIM cards must be activated within 15 days of delivery to remain valid.

The service is currently operational in the following cities: Delhi, Gurgaon, Faridabad, Sonipat, Ahmedabad, Surat, Chennai, Bhopal, Indore, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Pune, Lucknow, Jaipur, Kolkata, and Hyderabad.
