Dr. Debra Mrock received the Excellence in Media & Communication Award for her remarkable ability to leverage her personal journey and academic expertise to empower others. Overcoming significant challenges, including learning difficulties, abuse, cancer, and trauma, Dr. Debra applies the principles of Transformational Leadership from her doctoral studies to inspire and uplift individuals through effective communication. With degrees in Communication, Sociology, and Education, she has become an influential international speaker and workshop leader. Her contributions to initiatives such as Blissful Living, Disrupt Aging Classroom, and various aging summits highlight her dedication to using media and communication to create positive social change.
