Key Appointments

Secretary of State – Marco Rubio
Trump has nominated Florida Senator Marco Rubio for Secretary of State, choosing a former critic turned ally to be the nation’s top diplomat. Rubio, 53, is known for his tough stance on China, Cuba, and Iran. He serves as Vice Chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee and is also a member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee. Trump praised Rubio as a “strong advocate” for the U.S. and a “fearless warrior” against adversaries.

Attorney General – Matt Gaetz
Florida Representative Matt Gaetz, a staunch Trump supporter, has been chosen as Attorney General. Director of National Intelligence – Tulsi Gabbard
Former Hawaii Representative Tulsi Gabbard, who left the Democratic Party in 2022, has been appointed as Director of National Intelligence. Known for her unorthodox political views, Gabbard, 43, endorsed Trump in August and campaigned alongside him. Trump lauded her “fearless spirit” and dedication to the intelligence community.

Defense Secretary – Pete Hegseth
