PANKH Society Promotes Health and Hygiene Awareness Through WASH Workshop in Local Schools

In an effort to promote daily health and hygiene practices and to emphasize the responsible use of established bio toilet units, PANKH Society organized a highly impactful WASH workshop in Government Sr Sec Ahopul Kisan School and Biraspati Parsai Govt Sr Sec School, Ranipool.

The workshop was tailored to raise awareness among students, teachers, and staff about the importance of maintaining good hygiene practices in their daily lives. Through interactive sessions and informative discussions, participants gained valuable insights into various aspects of water, sanitation, and hygiene management.

“We believe that education is key to fostering healthy habits and promoting a clean environment,” said Ms Arti Thapa, Founder of PANKH Society. “By organizing workshops like these, we aim to empower individuals with the knowledge and skills needed to lead healthier lives and contribute to the well-being of their communities.” She continued.

During the workshop, attendees learned about the significance of proper handwashing techniques, the importance of sanitation facilities, and the benefits of utilizing bio toilet units for environmental sustainability. Practical demonstrations and engaging activities were incorporated to ensure that participants not only understood the concepts but also felt inspired to implement them in their daily routines.

The success of the workshop underscores PANKH Society’s commitment to promoting public health and environmental sustainability through education and community engagement. By partnering with local schools and stakeholders, the organization continues to make meaningful strides towards creating a healthier and cleaner future for all.
