On Mother’s Day, Anand Mahindra gave a unique message. To honor her, the chairman of the Mahindra Group has chosen an old photo of himself and his late mother, Indira Mahindra. The image is from when Mr. Mahindra was a college student.
The business mogul on X (previously known as Twitter) shared the backstory of the frame, writing, “Back in 1977. day before I headed off to college. As usual, my mother was staring off into the distance as she tried to imagine her children’s future and hoped that a quality education would be their ticket to both success and happiness rather than directly into the camera.
“Mama, happy Mother’s Day. We’ll continue working to fulfill your expectations of us, Mr. Mahindra continued.
On the social media site, Anand Mahindra’s Mother’s Day special post has received over 104k views. While some people wished Mr. Mahindra a very happy birthday, some of his supporters referred to him as a “Bollywood star.”
“You look like you were living in 2020 in terms of style and fashion,” a person said.
“You’ve only gotten better since, sir, even though you were attractive then!” read a message.
“Sir, you have been smart since your childhood,” someone said. All praise is due to your mother.
On Mother’s Day of the previous year, Anand Mahindra chose a monochrome picture of his beloved mother, Indira Mahindra.
