MithilaStack Targets Job Creation in Mithila, Launches job-oriented training-cum-internship

Darbhanga (Bihar) : MithilaStack, a startup incorporated to offer software development and outsourcing services from Darbhanga is now targeting scale-up of its job creation efforts by launching job-oriented training-cum-internship for software development, digital marketing and other IT related services from Darbhanga.

Speaking at the inauguration of its new office at Mabbi, Darbhanga, MithilaStack Darbhanga site leader, Sh. Kartik Jha said “In the last year, MithilaStack has delivered world class software projects including export assignments. This success makes us believe that we can build 40-50 man team in Darbhanga over 2 years and 100+ by 2028”.

MithilaStack founder and director, Sh. Arvind Jha, an IITian and senior software professional said “to scale the operations, we need to train and build local talent as most of the existing talent has moved out due to lack of local jobs. We are therefore launching an innovative training-cum-internship program for students, graduates and job seekers that will prepare them for jobs via intensive hands-on projects and hand holding. We will build IT outsourcing offerings for large IT companies who can use the Darbhanga office to house their remote employees”.

MithilaStack announced MOUs with leading educational institutes from the region on the occasion so that the students at these institutes can get the advantage of the internship program and also access to the senior professionals at MithilaStack. MOUs were announced with Darbhanga College of Engineering, Women’s Institute of Technology Darbhanga, Govt Engineering College Supaul, Sandip University Madhubani, Govt Engineering College Sitamarhi, Govt Engineering College Supaul.

This initiative from Darbhanga has been widely discussed on social media as well. Principal of Darbhanga College of Engineering, Mr. Sandeep Tiwari, stated, “Mithila Stack’s move will provide our students with employment opportunities through real-world projects.” Prof. Prem Mohan Mishra, Director, WIT Darbhanga added “many students from Mithila do not get jobs as they lack practical exposure to latest software development techniques. This initiative from MithilaStack helps to address this gap and I am hopeful this will add a lot of value to our students”.

MithilaStack’s learn-and-earn training-cum-internship program offers candidates a chance to get paid internship if they qualify a test administered by MithilaStack. For those who do not have the required level, a paid training-cum-hands-on course is offered which converts to paid internship after 3/6 months. “Most students and graduates move to Noida, Delhi, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Pune etc for similar training and spend upto 2.5 to 3 lakhs before they get jobs in IT field. MithilaStack is offering the same quality opportunity at significantly reduced rates and by offering paid internships, candidates get crucial job experience which facilitates jobs elsewhere” said Sh. Arvind Jha.

MithilaStack’s new office at Mabbi, Darbhanga is a 2200+ sq ft facility with corporate look and feel; high speed internet and can house upto 50 employees. MithilaStack currently has 10 employees both in Darbhanga and remote locations. Company is targeting 40-50 employees by 2026 and 100+ by 2028 with majority based in Darbhanga.
