BJP MP Ramesh Bidhuri Meets JP Nadda After Party Serves Notice For Slurs

Ramesh Bidhuri, a member of the BJP who last week attacked BSP politician Kunwar Danish Ali on the basis of his religion, has met with party leader JP Nadda. After a profane outburst in Parliament that was caught on camera and harshly denounced by the opposition, the Bharatiya Janata Party leader was given a show-cause notice, prompting his party to take action against one of its members.

A day after being verbally assaulted in front of the public during a special session of Parliament, a sobbing Mr. Ali told NDTV that he had been unable to sleep and was in danger of going insane. In addition, the member of the Bahujan Samaj Party stated that he was considering resigning from office should Ramesh Bidhuri remain unpunished.
