During the discussion of the vote of no-confidence, Shrikant Shinde also launched a vicious attack against Team Uddhav.

As his party opposed the no-confidence vote against the Modi administration, Shiv Sena MP Shrikant Shinde ripped into the Uddhav Thackeray group today for “abandoning” Hindutva and Bal Thackeray’s philosophy and even performed the Hanuman Chalisa in the Lok Sabha.

The son of Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and a member of the Lok Sabha from Kalyan unleashed a stinging attack on the opposition parties, saying they should have renamed their coalition INDIA because the “UPA” had come to be associated with corruption. “It is not just NDA vs. INDIA, but scheme vs. scam,” he stated.

Mr. Shinde claimed that the Uddhav Thackeray group of the Shiv Sena had defrauded voters during the no-confidence debate since they had allied with the BJP before the 2019 elections but then abandoned that pact.

“In 2019, voters handed the BJP and Shiv Sena a joint mandate. However, this circumstance was made… He thought I ought to be the chief minister. They had little interest in the Hindutva doctrine promoted by Balasaheb. They abandoned Balasaheb’s ideas and peddled the Hindutva ideology, Mr. Shinde claimed.

“No one could have predicted that the Shiv Sena would team up with Congress. The people who created this administration defrauded the electorate. He made an apparent reference to the episode in Ayodhya on October 30, 1990, when the late Mulayam Singh Yadav was the chief minister: “They even had an alliance with Samajwadi Party, which shot on kar sevaks.

The MP said that in Maharashtra, individuals were forbidden from chanting the Hanuman Chalisa. He remarked, “I know the whole Hanuman Chalisa…,” and he began singing the hymns.

However, he did not finish it because the Chair asked him to continue.

The Amravati MP Navneet Rana and her MLA-husband Ravi Rana were detained on April 23 by the Mumbai Police following their announcement that they would recite the Hanuman Chalisa outside the then-chief minister Uddhav Thackeray’s private residence “Matoshree” in Mumbai. This sparked a dispute in Maharashtra that year.

Additionally, the BJP staged public recitations of the Hanuman Chalisa in protest of the Shiv Sena, Congress, and NCP-led MVA administration of the time.

After Eknath Shinde rebelled against him and allied himself with the BJP, Uddhav Thackeray was forced out of office.

In 2018, the opposition moved for a vote of no confidence in the government, but the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) responded by adding more lawmakers, according to Mr. Shinde.

“Today the Opposition has once again brought a no-confidence motion, this time NDA will cross 400,” he declared.

He commented on the new name of the opposition alliance, saying, “They changed the name of UPA to INDIA. They believe that people will stand behind them. UPA conjures up images of fraud, corruption, terrorist attacks, and authoritarian administrations, so they changed the name.

“They have collected in opposition to one guy. They lack a leader and a strategy. This squad has no captain, therefore every leader here wants to be the prime minister, he said.
