RWA Prasad Nagar MIG Flats Celebrates Republic Day 2026 with Patriotic Fervor and Community Spirit

The Residents’ Welfare Association (RWA), Prasad Nagar, New Delhi, organized a grand and memorable celebration of Republic Day 2026, reflecting the true spirit of patriotism, unity, and cultural pride. The event was held within the RWA premises and witnessed enthusiastic participation from residents of all age groups.

The successful organization of the program was led by RWA President Mr. Sumit Bajaj and Secretary Mr. Deepak Bansal, whose dedicated efforts ensured smooth coordination and execution of the celebrations. The event commenced with the hoisting of the National Flag, followed by the singing of the National Anthem, creating a moment of pride and reverence among all attendees.

One of the major highlights of the program was the vibrant cultural performances presented by the young talents of the RWA. The children captivated the audience with patriotic songs, dance performances, and thematic presentations that beautifully showcased India’s rich heritage, diversity, and democratic values. Their confident stage presence and heartfelt performances received loud applause and appreciation from everyone present.

The occasion was further graced by the presence of several distinguished guests, including Chief Guest Mr. Pravesh Ratn, Hon’ble MLA from Patel Nagar विधानसभा, Dr. Shelly Oberoi, Former Mayor of MCD and Councillor of Ward 86, and Ms. Kavita Chauhan, Deputy Chairman of MCD Karol Bagh Zone and Councillor of Ward 85. Many other eminent personalities and respected members of the community were also present.

Addressing the gathering, the dignitaries congratulated the RWA for organizing such a meaningful celebration and praised the residents for fostering a strong sense of community bonding. They emphasized the importance of remembering the sacrifices of freedom fighters and encouraged citizens, especially the youth, to actively contribute towards building a progressive and inclusive nation.

RWA President Mr. Sumit Bajaj expressed his gratitude to all guests, participants, volunteers, and residents for their wholehearted support. Secretary Mr. Deepak Bansal also thanked the organizing team and highlighted that such events strengthen social harmony and promote patriotic values among the younger generation.

The Republic Day celebration concluded with the distribution of refreshments and a collective pledge to uphold the principles of the Indian Constitution. The event stood as a testament to the unity, enthusiasm, and patriotic spirit of the Prasad Nagar community.
