The unfortunate sequence of events that resulted in the Maharashtra bus accident that killed 25 people

Several terrible circumstances led to the bizarre bus tragedy that killed at least 25 people on a motorway in Maharashtra early this morning.

The bus’s tyre blew at around 1:35 in the morning on the Samruddhi-Mahamarg Motorway near Buldhana city, the driver, who had a lucky escape and is being treated in a hospital, claimed. The vehicle then hit a pole and overturned. According to the authorities, the fuel tank was harmed as a result, and the diesel began to flow, sparking a massive fire.

Only eight of the bus’s 33 occupants made it out alive. They’ve all been hurt, including four of them. As crew, there were three people aboard: two drivers, one cleaner, and one driver who perished. A lucky escape occurred for the cleaner and another driver.

No one was able to exit the bus because of the bus’s side-to-side flip, which blocked the doors. Those who managed to flee broke a glass pane while seated in the driver’s side cabin. Most of the passengers, according to police, were asleep when the accident occurred.

The bus, which was operated by Vidarbha Travels, was travelling between Nagpur and Pune.

Eknath Shinde, the chief minister, has announced a consolation payment to the families of the deceased of 5 lakh.

Two helpline lines have been provided by the Buldhana District Magistrate’s office: 7020435954 and 07262242683.
