16 employers were recognized today as the first recipients of the Excellence in Wellness Award by Marquee Health. The Excellence in Wellness Award honors businesses that have best-in-class wellness initiatives and an overall culture of health and well-being. A pool of more than 1,750 businesses was narrowed down to the sixteen winner organizations.
The dedication to employee well-being of businesses of all sizes was assessed. Award winners were chosen based on an overall score across 4 categories using wellness program data from 2022:
• Being an Impact Player: Program Engagement
• Total Wellbeing Support: 5 Pillars of Wellbeing & Benefit Integration
• Strong Leadership Support and Participation
• Improvements in Clinical Outcomes
Higher productivity, lower medical expenditures, fewer workers’ compensation, and disability claims, and decreased absenteeism are all advantages for businesses recognized by Marquee Health.
