According to reports, a terrorist was killed in a clash with security forces on Friday morning in the Rajouri area of Jammu and Kashmir.
According to a defense official, the army and police together conducted a cordon and search operation on the intervening nights of Thursday and Friday after spotting suspicious activity in the Dassal Gujran forest region near Rajouri.
He claimed that after the terrorists opened fire on the soldiers and they returned fire, the search operation ended in a confrontation. All through the night, shots were being fired.
One terrorist has been killed, according to Jammu and Kashmir’s Additional Director General of Police (ADGP), Mukesh Singh, and the operation is still ongoing.
