“Am Embarrassed,” When commenting on the Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir spat, Harbhajan Singh recalls slapping Sreesanth in the past.

On Tuesday, former Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh admitted that the 2008 Indian Premier League (IPL) incident in which he slapped Sreesanth on the ground, which shook the entire season, made him feel ashamed. Following a verbal altercation between Royal Challengers Bangalore star batter Virat Kohli and Lucknow Super Giants bowler Naveen-ul-Haq, the ‘Turbanator’ tweeted about that particular incident. Gautam Gambhir, the LSG coach, came to prominence after the game when he was spotted joking around with Virat. Harbhajan stated Virat is a legend and shouldn’t get engaged in such circumstances when speaking about that incident.

I’m ashamed of what I did in 2008 with Sreesanth. The Legendary Virat Kohli Should Not Participate In Such Things. Harbhajan stated in his tweet that “Whatever Happened Between Virat And Gambhir Was Not Right For Cricket.”

At the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium, a fight broke out after RCB bowled LSG out for 108 and scored 126/9 in 20 overs, despite KL Rahul’s unsuccessful attempt to lead his team to victory while batting through a leg injury.

In his customary animated aggression, Kohli had revelled in the LSG’s wickets falling during their innings. He was seen giving the crowd kisses. Both Lucknow Super Giants coach Gambhir and Royal Challengers Bangalore batsman Kohli admitted to the Level 2 infraction in violation of Article 2.21 of the IPL Code of Conduct.

Naveen-ul-Haq, a bowler for the LSG, was also penalised 50% of his match costs for violating the code of conduct. In accordance with Article 2.21 of the IPL Code of Conduct, Naveen-ul-Haq acknowledged to the Level 1 infraction.

After LSG’s narrow victory in the previous meeting between the two teams last month, team coach Gambhir told the RCB home crowd to be quiet. When his team lost a wicket, Kohli not only kissed the Lucknow supporters, but he also imitated Gambhir by putting his finger to his lips and making the sign for silence.

The two shook hands after the game, and everything appeared to be alright.Kyle Mayers, the LSG’s opening player, approached Kohli and began to chat when Gambhir arrived and snatched Mayers away. Soon after this incident, footage from the game showed Gautam Gambhir joking with Virat Kohli. Separating the two were seen other players, including KL Rahul, and support personnel. The LSG captain KL Rahul and Kohli were then spotted having a protracted conversation.
