Haryana Chief Minister “Didn’t Drink Yamuna Water, Spit It Out”, Says AAP Leader

AAP leader Priyanka Kakkar on Thursday strongly criticized Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, accusing him of staging a stunt by pretending to drink Yamuna water. She claimed that instead of consuming it, he immediately spat it out.

“After the tragic incident at Mahakumbh yesterday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi was in Delhi, focusing on criticizing Arvind Kejriwal. We have repeatedly warned people that if they vote for BJP, the first thing they’ll need to do is buy a generator. Everyone saw the drama Nayab Singh Saini orchestrated by pretending to drink Yamuna water. He didn’t actually drink it—he spat it out immediately. Instead of misleading people with such theatrics, he should address why the Yamuna’s water is so polluted,” Kakkar told ANI.

On Wednesday, Chief Minister Saini visited the Yamuna River in Delhi’s Palla village, where he took a sip of water in an attempt to counter former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s allegations. Kejriwal had claimed that the Haryana government had “poisoned” the water supply to Delhi, endangering its residents.

Dismissing the accusations, Saini called Kejriwal’s remarks “unfortunate,” accusing him of spreading fear among the public for political gain. “Arvind Kejriwal’s statement was made solely to create fear for his political benefits. I have come here to the banks of the Yamuna and taken a sip of the water myself. Kejriwal alleged that the BJP-led Haryana government has poisoned the Yamuna and spoke of mass genocide,” Saini said while addressing reporters.

AAP Leader Refutes Allegations About Suspicious Punjab Vehicle

In a separate development, Priyanka Kakkar also addressed the controversy surrounding a Punjab-registered vehicle found near Delhi’s Punjab Bhawan, which reportedly contained AAP pamphlets, multiple liquor bottles, and cash worth lakhs. She claimed that the car belonged to a BJP worker from Maharashtra and that its number plate was fake.

“This is yet another poorly executed attempt by the BJP to frame us. The vehicle’s owner is a BJP worker from Maharashtra, and the number plate belongs to a different car. It’s absurd to suggest that a driverless car, conveniently parked outside Punjab Bhawan, is found with cash and liquor. The Punjab Police has already clarified that the vehicle does not belong to their fleet,” Kakkar told ANI.

Delhi Police, in a statement, said they had received information about a suspicious vehicle with a Punjab registration plate and “Punjab Sarkar” written on it, parked near Punjab Bhawan on Copernicus Marg. Upon inspection, they discovered a large amount of cash, liquor bottles, and AAP pamphlets inside. The case is now under investigation at the Tilak Marg police station.

However, the Punjab government issued a clarification, stating that the vehicle’s number plate was “forged and fake” and refuting any links to the state government.

According to the Punjab government, the vehicle is registered in the name of Major Anubhav Shivpuri, who was posted at the Army Dental College in Pathankot three years ago and is a permanent resident of Khadki, Maharashtra.
