The London Organisation of Skills Development (LOSD) successfully hosted the launch of Inspiring Journey of a Woman on the occasion of International Women’s Day. The event, held both online and offline, brought together professionals from around the world to discuss the challenges women face and how they overcome them.
The virtual event took place on March 7, 2025, with Martha Davidson serving as the Chief Guest. The offline book launch was hosted on March 9, 2025, at Fitzwilliam College, Cambridge University, UK. Like-minded professionals engaged in thought-provoking discussions about gender stereotypes and societal barriers, emphasizing the book’s role in uncovering hidden struggles and guiding women toward empowerment.
The event was led by Prof. Dr. Parin Somani, CEO & Director of LOSD, and Nurbanu, LOSD Skills Director, both of whom emphasized the significance of women’s empowerment and skill development in today’s world. Their leadership continues to create a platform for individuals to connect, share knowledge, and inspire change.
One of the distinguished participants was Indrani Radhakrishnan. She is a dynamic professional with expertise as a lawyer, researcher, writer, and speaker. An international award winner in peace and development, she serves as a Peace Ambassador and a member of the SPMUDA Commission on Human Rights and the Human Rights Advisory Council. A passionate social activist, Indrani focuses on women’s development and domestic violence issues. In addition to her legal and writing pursuits, she has worked in diverse fields such as teaching, training, medical transcription, business transcription, and travel. Her greatest passion lies in history, heritage, and culture, where she continues to contribute meaningfully.
