“Wipe Out Terrorism”: Pahalgam Victims’ Families Laud Operation Sindoor, Appeal to PM Modi

In the aftermath of Operation Sindoor—a powerful counter-terror mission targeting nine terror camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir—families of the Pahalgam attack victims have come forward to express gratitude and renewed hope for the end of terrorism.

Sumit Parmar and his son Yatish Parmar, residents of Bhavnagar in Gujarat, were among the 26 innocent civilians brutally killed by terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pahalgam on April 22. Speaking to the media, a relative of Sumit Parmar expressed his appreciation for the Indian government’s response. “I thank the government for bringing justice to the victims. I hope such strong actions continue until terrorism is completely wiped out,” he said.

The strikes reportedly hit critical terror strongholds, including the Jaish-e-Mohammad headquarters in Bahawalpur and the Lashkar-e-Taiba base in Muridke, dealing a significant blow to militant operations across the border.

Meanwhile, Tage Hailyang, a corporal with the Indian Air Force from Arunachal Pradesh, was present in Pahalgam during the horrifying attack. His brother, Take Laling, shared his sentiments in an interview with NDTV. He described Operation Sindoor as a “deadly blow to terror and Pakistan,” and praised the armed forces and the central government for their swift action. He also urged security agencies to remain vigilant, emphasizing the need for heightened alertness as India-Pakistan tensions escalate.
